Sagegreen are delighted to announce that from May 2008 they are working with Squeeze Me Juice Company to develop their foodservice business.
Squeeze Me produce pouches of freshly prepared fruit which are blast frozen to ensure they are as nutritious as the day the fruit was harvested. This provides the customer with a product that is “ready to blend” to produce fantastic smoothies!
Squeeze Me smoothies can be found in cafes, restaurants and gyms or they can be made at home – either way, their smoothies are 100% pure fruit and totally saintly.

From May 2008 Sagegreen will be working with Delicious Oils, helping them launch their products into the retail sector.
Delicious Oils produces British made extra virgin rapeseed oil from seeds which are 100% British, fully traceable and not genetically modified in any way. The oil is produced from the first pressing of the rapeseed, thereby retaining the full flavour and goodness of the seed. Rapeseed oil contains a high level of omega 3 and no Trans-fats giving it many health benefits such as improving brain and eye function and reducing the stickiness of blood hence making it less likely to clot.
Historically, olive oil has been considered the healthy oil, but now there is a real alternative with all the added benefits of indigenous ingredients!

Crumbs – Down To Earth Food!
Sagegreen are pleased to announce they are working with Crumbs who produce a range of pies, pasties, twisters & bombs in traditional and contemporary flavours - chilled for the retail sector and frozen for foodservice.
Crumbs are driven by a passion to excite their consumers - creating tasty, wholesome convenience foods at a fair price without compromising on quality. The range, designed with modern lifestyles in mind, does not contain any non-essential ingredients such as artificial taste enhancers or preservatives and, if at all possible, products are made using fresh, British ingredients.
They also do their bit to reduce the consumption of resources and actively promote environmental awareness. Where possible assets are reused and recyclable materials are utilised. Packaging is environmentally friendly, made with card from sustainable sources. Crumbs also set aside a percentage of their profits for investment into environmental good causes. As part of this they are developing a relationship with Envision who encourage school children to engage in improving their environment.

British Frozen Food Federation Catering Product 2007 - "BARILLA" Girasole De Gorgonzola
At their presentation ceremony - held at the Gala Dinner Dance at the London Hilton Hotel on the 14th June - the British Frozen Food Federation announced the winner of the Catering Product of the Year for 2007 as “BARILLA” Girasole De Gorgonzola from Sagegreen Consulting Ltd.
The experienced judges from the Craft Guild of Chefs independently judge, assess, mark, and provide comments on all entries. Sagegreen - Experts in Food Sales - offer an outsource sales resource for food manufacturers, this year helping Barilla win in two categories where standards were extremely high – ‘Catering Product of the Year’ and ‘Best New Meat Free/Vegetarian Product’.
The award winning product is from the Barilla IQF range and is ideal for a variety of foodservice occasions from café snacks to pub meals to family dining. The English Cheesecake Company
Sagegreen are delighted to be working with The English Cheesecake Company to develop their Foodservice business from July 2007.
In 1992 Philip Weldon set up The English Cheesecake Company and started to make what was an original family cheesecake recipe going back several generations and one that he himself had been making since the age of fourteen.
With his passion for desserts he took his hobby and made it a career. From that time Philip affectionately became known by his Grandfather and the family as ‘Cheesecake Charlie’ –a name that has stuck with him to this very day.
The millennium arrived together with Philip's decision to capitalize and develop the immense potential of the company. Spearheading this strategic drive, in 2002 Alan Laurier joined Philip as his business partner and fellow Director. The rest, as they say, is history!
The English Cheesecake Company today manufactures those very same cult Cheesecakes and importantly still retains the original homemade ideals. The repertoire now also encompasses a mouth watering range of products including puddings, pies, tarts, brownies, and cakes.

Kavli
From the end of March 2007, Sagegreen have been appointed to be the foodservice sales force for Kavli UK.
Kavli produce a range of food products including cheese spread, dips and pates. The UK operation is split across two sites, with the famous Primula brand produced in Gateshead, North East England.
The second facility is based in Kirkcudbright, South West Scotland and produces a range of pates under the Castle MacLellan brand and for a range of own label customers. Kavli UK currently has 196 employees across its two sites.
With such strong chilled brands Sagegreen are looking forward to developing Kavli’s business in the UK foodservice arena.

Simmers of Edinburgh
Sagegreen are delighted to be working with Simmers of Edinburgh in the foodservice arena from January 2007.
Simmers of Edinburgh Ltd has extensive experience in the manufacture of oat cakes and biscuits stretching back to the 1888. Nairn’s was established shortly afterwards in 1896 and was acquired by Simmers, which was part of the United Biscuits group, in 1978. A management buyout in 1996 now sees Simmers of Edinburgh Ltd under a new management structure and growing from strength to strength.
After some extensive foodservice research conducted by Sagegreen, Simmers are launching a complete range of healthy low fat and GI balanced sweet oat biscuits and savoury oat baked snacks in foodservice packs from January 2007.

From January 2007, Sagegreen are selling exclusively Tepelene Albanian pure mineral water.
Tepelene Spring has been in existence for more than 250 years and is located in a nature reserve in the mountain of the district of Tepelene town, in the South of Albania.
